Fried chicken with Nepali spice

Choose original for a mild plate or spicy nibbles for heat that builds. Order ahead online if you want to collect on your way through the city.

The seasoning is the same base as the rest of our menu: ginger, garlic, chilli and cumin, not a generic fried-chicken rub. It comes from a Nepali kitchen, and it tastes like one.

Straight answer

Is it Korean fried chicken?

No. It is Nepali-spiced fried chicken. There is no gochujang glaze and it is not double-fried, so calling it Korean would be a lie that got you in the door once and annoyed you.

If Korean-style is specifically what you want tonight, we are not your shop. If you want fried chicken that tastes of ginger, garlic and chilli, we are.

What makes your fried chicken different?
It is seasoned with the same Nepali spice base used across the menu, so the spicy nibbles carry ginger, garlic and chilli rather than generic hot sauce heat.
How spicy are the spicy chicken nibbles?
Warm rather than punishing. The heat comes from dried chilli in the coating and builds across a few pieces instead of hitting immediately. If you want it mild, order the original.
Can I get fried chicken delivered in Auckland?
Yes, through Uber Eats or DoorDash. Fried chicken is the one item that genuinely suffers in transit, so if you are within walking distance we would honestly rather you collected it.
Do you do a fried chicken burger?
